In 2020, SUGN launched the iRead iLead Educational campaign, a 10-year strategic initiative aimed at making libraries accessible and nurturing the reading, writing, arithmetic, and creativity skills of learners at the primary level. The campaign also seeks to popularise and demystify STEM education through activity-based programs at the pre-tertiary level. This initiative supports the Ministry of Education’s goal to achieve a 60:40 admission ratio of science to humanities students at the tertiary level by 2030, as outlined in the Education Strategic Plan (ESP 2018-2030).
In September 2022, Deloitte partnered with SUGN to support its WorldClass Initiative, contributing $55,000.00 to refurbish and restock eight school libraries, benefiting over 35,000 children in Ghana. This brings the total number of libraries provided by SUGN to ten (10).
