Kwame Brako Asante, a member of the PRESEC Legon NSMQ team adjudged best student in Ghana & 2nd in West Africa.

Kwame Brako Asante, a member of the PRESEC Legon team at the just ended 2021 National Science and Mathematics Quiz (NSMQ) has emerged as the overall best Ghanaian student in the 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). 

In a ceremony of double celebrations, Kwame who is now a student of Ashesi University was also named the overall second-best student in West Africa, while Nweze Isabella Chinasa and Eleanor Godswill both  from Nigeria, emerged the first and third best respectively.

At a ceremony to honor these brilliant students were the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, together with other dignitaries including Nigeria’s Youth and Sports Minister and officials from the Ghana Education Service, PRESEC-Legon and old students from PRESEC Legon.

Kwame Brako  Asante, along with the first and the third-best received prizes for topping the over two million candidates across West Africa who sat for the 2021 WASSCE.
